Worst provider I have had in my gaming career. 0 Customer Service, their control panel works only 50%, its a joke really.

Asked them to install Promod Live, the mod that is played in CEVO and ALL other competitive organizations, and was told they do not install mods. PROMOD is not just a MOD.. They are total dumbasses, who refuse to refund my money. I've yet to play on MY SERVER. ITS NOT SET UP, and no communication whatsoever.

STAY AWAY FROM FAME, they're a joke, not to be taking serious.

FAME is one of the best server providers I have ever seen. So far, the server itself is the best one that I've played on in my career for CS:S. The only thing that is wrong is the customer service. Although they inform the consumer about the problems, they should be able to reply to a message on mIRC or an email ASAP. Only reason why I gave a 3. Thanks for the Server though!

I have absolutely no real complaints about the vent server itself. For the 3 or so months, I've had it, it's been wholly reliable. On the flip side, I've never "had" a product that has given me greater aggravation, frustration and stress than on the Customer service front- to sum it up in two words- "virtually non-existent".

When I first set it up, Sean was there on AOL to help me install it and get it going and I had no problems. As time wore on though, Sean was almost always unavailable for any and all inquiries. My numerous emails were left unanswered, his current status of AOL consistently "Away". When there was a technical problem, it took Sean and his company a week to respond and solve my issue- a full week without the use of vent for my guild. Plus, I was only able to contact Sean at around 12:30 am EST. I was then offered a free month as compensation for the down time but it never materialized and again I was unable to get in contact with anyone about it.

Finally, the Client section of the Fame Networks' website is confusing since I have since canceled and been told that my service has been canceled in an email but it is not reflected in the Client section of the website which shows that I have an upcoming payment.

I went with this provider due to the strength of the reviews of Fame Networks found on this very website and its unbeatable price. However, I have since learned that a low price equates to a whole lot of headache on the Customer Service front. I am no willing to pay a dollar more (if you get a yearly rate) for what seems to be proven and reliable customer service for the same 10 slot vent. I have been bitterly disappointed with my experience with Fame Networks.

I was in the market for a quality server yet, affordable. I googled server reviews, found GSP, then saw this was ranked #1..hmmm there's gotta be a reason. So i said what the hell, I signed up, and now, I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. I have played on Hi-Def, NuclearFallout, Hypernia, servers, all with equivalent stats as the servers they provide at fame, and let me tell you this ranks up there in the top 3. Excellent, excellent quality and registry. My team has been playing on a sub par provider, and after we switched to fame....gee, all of a sudden we are ROLLING teams left and right...why? REGISTRY PEOPLE!

These guys are horrible. The server quality is laughable at best. When I tried to contact them about the quality, they made no attempt to fix it. These guys are terrible. Do not use them under any circumstance. If you need a game server that bad, host it off of your own computer before you use these guys. They make it very clear once you use them that once they get your money, they will not help you in the slightest, and they will never ever give up any amount of money that they have no matter what they say. My 'refund' was never received after dealing with these guys for five months and they simply claimed that they had sent it and refused to look into it any longer.

In short, never, NEVER, use Fame Networks. They want your money and once they have it, they treat you worse than a cockroach.

To be honest, I was very impressed with the setup time for my Los Angeles server which was provided for me within an hour...that is with the various errors made while registering for it.

Pro: clean swift panel, stable, good registration, what is downtime?? (it has never been down), pings are stable, preloaded league maps, preloaded league configs, inexpensive gaming grade quality servers, and the support is just...wow (in a good way (the CEO Sean always responded within a minute)).

CONS: does not make my pancakes

Verdict: Every penny was a penny well spent on this server.

After asking about the server, the person went mute. 3+ days and still no server what so ever, price and features seem nice, but wont know if that is true or not since they pretty much are stealing money from customers without any service.

FAMEnetworks company is by far the best game server company! I would recommend this company to anybody that wants excellent/friendly customer service, awesome reg, low pings and most of all BEST PRICE!!!

Great servers. Ive never seen a server, especially a 1000fps server, hold such stable tickrate and FPS, which in turn provided me with amazing registration. Staff is very helpful and provide great support. All around A+ GSP. Highly recommend to ANYONE.

Servers are smooth as balls, we just recently registered our team for the "get payed to play" program. Awesome idea, couldn't ask for a better server / better service.

I have never had a complaint about registry or lag in any scrims. Cheap prices and Sean is usually online if something goes wrong. I think to date after 3 months of having the server I've had one problem with the FTP and it was resolved within 20min of the first message to him. Great GSP, I'm sticking with em!

All I can say is "wow". EXCELLENT registry, NO complaints from ANY scrim team we have faced, one team even asked where I bought the server from. Very, very, very good server, I made a great choice. Also, it is cheap, little less than $35 for a 10 slot 1200 fps. The support can be a tad slow, but they are amazing. You just have to be patient, and they give everything you need! I wanted them to do a custom installation on my server, he said that I was the only client to even ask for it, and he suggested that he learn just so he could, which was awesome. I ended up doing it myself because I didn't want to give the burden on him, :D. David, the support guy, is awesome, did everything I ever needed help on, the reason why I give fame servers 10/10. He needs an award or something, he is a great guy ;). Make the purchase, look no further, fame servers is the way to go.

This company has locked its irc channel and will not respond to email, support ticket or PM's on irc. They are not letting anyone know whats going on.. everyones server has been down for over 5 days each. This company is complete garbage.

They do not even tell you whats going on... offer a refund.. reply at all to tickets... possibly a scam coming up soon.

This server gives great registration. The price is hard to beat as well. The customer service is always very helpful and all time. This is great! I love my Fame servers!

Took around 2 days for my server to be set up, way longer than most server providers. I tried to contact customer support during this time only to get no responses through xfire, irc, or the ticket I submitted. When they finally did get around to setting it up they set it up in the wrong place, I ordered a Dallas server and they set it up in Chicago. And to top it all off, the ftp password and login that was provided to me was wrong. I will note that they refunded me for the time the server was not set up, and that the server was quite good, pings and hit reg. Horrible customer service.

Right now, It has been 2 days since I haven't been able to talk with anyone about a few maps that I cant get to work on my server. Yeah sure the server is fine on the regular maps (Im a CS 1.6 player) but any maps that you may need to put on the server, like say, for CEVO, good luck.. They dont work and so far I haven't gotten help like I need. 2 Tickets, 5 or 6 IM's, and 3 to 4 different IRC messages. NOTHING

Let me start off to say I'm glad I found this review board for this "company", if you could call it that. I ordered a website design about a year ago. When I had talked to them they assured me a 1 page design for $50 or all 5 pages for $70. I thought this was an amazing deal so I paid the extra $20 to get the rest of the pages. But, when I received my design it was merely the one page, not to mention the unorganized nature of the PSD image. I tried to contact FameNetworks to have this error fixed up and he assured me it would be done. Two weeks of waiting and talking back and forth and I never received the rest of my product. They asked "What did you expect for $70?", I expect to get what I was promised. They are completely unprofessional and unethical, I'm sure many agree with me, I will never work with or promote them in the future.

The servers are amazing, im sure one of the reasons is because they are a newer company but I hope boxes don't get overloaded and quality drops as this company gets its name out. I was very happy to deal with Sean the owner of fame servers. he made it a personal experience.

This is by far the WORST game server host I have ever used. I have used many many many server hosts in my CS:S career and these guys take the cake for the worst. It took days for my server to get set up and when I tried putting in a support ticket, I heard nothing.. ever.. It has been WEEKS!!! I tried every form of contact that they left with no luck or response from any of them. The server itself is okay but if you use rcon to shut down the server it will never restart unless you go into the control panel. It does get laggy if you do not restart the server almost daily but that is also fairly common. It just sucks you have to login to the control panel every single time. The pricing is great but if there is NOOOOO support then what does it matter? If your server doesn't work at all or sucks horribly you can pretty much count on never hearing anything from them. So basically you can pay the cheapest price in the market for something that might never even work!!! How in the world are these guys rated this months top 5 GSP's? STAY AWAYYYYYY!!!!!!! I don't even have that much of an issue with the actual server but being treated like you are of absolute no importance to the company is just ridiculous. Get your act together FAME!!!! Your pricing is right but weeks with no reply to your own support ticketing system is just retarded.

Friend was telling me about these servers when I was looking for a match server and he said ONLY GET A FAME SERVER. So Im like ok. Well when I got it I was pleased with the setup time. The reg is amazing. The speed is amazing.

And atop all. Its pricing is jaw dropping.

Go with fame, Doesnt matter if it has a couple bad customer support reviews, remember its run by like 5 people, and they mean well. very friendly.

Server has good reg even though it was in chicago and i am from los angeles. I send support ticket, email, aim, and irc and still no reply so their support is bad. Trying to tell them to change my server back to los angeles

First thing I have to say about these servers is do not be fooled by the price. Just because its not priced at a 100 bucks does not mean your not getting PRO Quality! I have rented from several server companies and for some reason I always end up back here. I have paid up to 200 dollars for a server a month and ended up coming back to FAME cause my team hated the reg of the over priced server. I do not know how FAME makes there servers so awesome and why they are so inexpensive, but they do the job better than any other server company I have been with. Trust me on this one.

They're good servers. Just ABSOLUTE SHIT in their customer service area. Live chat: nonexistent. MSN/AIM: Never available... I asked them how long it would take to set up a server. They said 30 minutes. So I ordered a server. It didn't come up until the next day, about 7 hours later. I saw that I got the wrong server also... I got a Chicago server instead of a Dallas server, like I ordered. They said they would jump right on it. And right now, I believe it's been 14 hours since that moment, and I still have a Chicago server. I've canceled my subscription with them. I don't really care how good of a server it is, if I can't get the right server. That's my two cents..

Sean (Owner) Is a real nice guy and his support is great. No one complains about reg, lag or anything. FAME is a great company and I recommend it to you and all of your friends!
