Very competitive pricing, reliable servers which you do not even need to restart that often, but if there is a problem their support is top notch. The servers never go below 100tic and I have never noticed hitbox lag or registry issues. When setting up my server I noticed that all the maps were already uploaded, even the new CAL-css map "ballast" was on the server when I got it. Very convinent.

I ordered a Left 4 Dead server from these guys, and basically I never really had a problem with their server. I never get lag in game, I can completely control the server, customer support was great and very helpful, and I like the pricing that I get for the server that I have. I recommend this company to everyone who looks for a good dedicated server with practically no downside to having their own server. I wouldn't mind purchasing another server from them. I bought a 1000FPS server and it has been amazing. Service is fantastic also.

Since the day I bought the server the server lagged constantly. I tried to contact support and received no help at all. I sent in 3 tickets in a course of 5 days and hopped on live chat 10 times. No one was available all 10 times to talk to me. I tried restarting my server nothing. I even stopped the server and kept it down for 45 minutes still didn't work. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone unless you like paying for lag.

They never had support on to answer my questions ever. Server was decent quality but their support sucks. I have never been with a worse GSP.

Whether this is your first time renting a machine or if you are looking to add another, I would highly recommend X Factor Servers as your provider. Years ago I was with GameDaemons and they were pretty decent, but now with the development of premium servers @ 1000+ FPS, youre set with XFS.


Service-The few times Ive had questions or problems XFS Derek was right there on IRC. He let me test servers in both CHI and NY, both of which offered amazing registry and less than 20ms difference in ping. I ping 20~ to CHI and under 45 to NY. I was doing a lot of shopping. I visited NFO , GW and HD in particular along with any others that came to mind, and this is where I found my teams new home.

Reliability-Ive only had the server for a couple of weeks and its only been restarted whenever I am messing around with the server configs or getting the HLTV ready for a match and even then, it didnt have to be. Registration is stellar all the time.

Value-I gave Derek a quote from another company with the same stats and he gave me a lifetime coupon saving me more than what I would have, had I gone with the other company. Not to mention the server is a dream to play on.

My advice to all the people looking for a game server, dont buy this one. The customer service is TERRIBLE! I paid a lot of money for their 1000 FPS server. I have 3 opened tickets complaining about the lag problem, so far it has been 1 week 1 hour and 4 minutes and I have not gotten a word out of them. Would of been better off flushing my money down the toilet.

After I ordered my server, it took X Factor 4 days to set it up, so I was cheated out of the gate. Next, I asked for a credit for my trouble, and the owner never emailed me back Third, the quality is less then par. It seems to reg only in the mornings when no one is playing, so I am guessing they stack their boxes. The only good thing was the price, but hey you get what you pay for, so in this case a shitty server.

buyer beware we had the server 3 days we selected Denver when we bought the server and server took over 12hrs to get setup. Then we questioned as to where the server was because pings were so high and was advised they did not have a denver yet and he put the server in Dallas. Advised him that chicago would work better for us but because every ticket took 24-36hrs for a response we decided to cancel and request a refund. At which time we were advised that they will not give you a refund we even tried to explain that we never got to use the server because of the location. At which time they moved the server to chicago and told us to deal with it and if we wanted to cancel we had to canel through paypal they would not cancel us.

Great over all. Love them have been with them for 6 monthds

Best experience i have had, Servers are excellent, sometimes its hard to hear back from them in weekends but overall its great, i just have t say one thing about the reviews done today, have noticed they all come from one customer. try and make one review so we can get the right rating, having all your friends come and bad mouth a server provider is "unprofessional". i read your link at n00bsalad, and i have to say, a server box is like rent, yu have to give your renter at least 30 days notice or some places more before you leave, otherwise they have the right to kick you out and keep all possessions in the establishment, in this matter your files. X factor will have to pay the 400$ you are going to fail to pay come the next week, had you given them the 30 day notice they would have prepared your server to be rented out by that time, making it easier for both parties. They must not be all that bad, you stayed with them 6 months.

I have to say after having Defcon for a while, x factor was a breath of fresh air, Defcon had GREAT customer service, but crappy servers, lagged out plenty and crashed constant. When i got x factor 2 months ago, the servers are excellent, customer service to has been a positive experience.

Like mentioned before, I used the coupon code rais and was able to get a get deal on these servers. So far I have a cs:s server and we all get great shot registration on the server. We had nfo server before and this one seems more reliable and cost effective. I may try their webhosting as well.

After getting tired of bad customer service and slow servers from other major providers, I found this one. Xfactor servers are very fast and reliable. I run a Counter Strike Source and 1.6 team with these servers and have no complaints yet after several months of using them. To save money I found a coupon code, use the code: RAIS and you get an extra 15% off. Cut my cost of running my team in half from other companies.

I found they changed my Mohawk From Atlanta to New York.To a non autherized ip address.
I went to Mohawkforums and the guy there told me that.
That is why it would'nt work anymore.
No answer to the suport ticket concerning a solution.
Derek,Owner tech does not even address my ticket about the mohawk.
Just leaves me hanging. I told them I'm out and they would have to try hard to care less.
I had 2 L4d2 and a BfBc2 server there. I am not going to give them much more thought.
Have to move on.

My Mohawk went down 2 days ago and they can't get me another one going.
Now Use Voip from another provider because of Xfactor forgot how to set one up.
They even moved me from Atlanta to NY without nary asking if I want a NY server.

I had two L4d2 server there with High pings.I'm 200 miles away from Atlanta.
The BFBC2 I rent there from them is low ping but these two are 30 60 ping higher
than that one. Same box they say. I don't get it they are fickle and flaky at times as far as support goes. I chalk that up to the people they hire. This time the price is not attractive when we can't use the service. At our other provider they will answer the phone.
If I'm an idiot they will tell me. Also if they screw up they can take the heat. If they can fix the Mohawk I will keep the BFBC2 server.
It comes with free Mohawk and is only $10.00 bucks monthly.

I don't know what to say, Xfactorservers is BY FAR the best server provider out there in my opinion. Not only are their services FAST, Reliable, and all, their customer service/support is OFF the charts, i mean there always there, they went above and beyond my expectations on so many occasions i cant even count.

Company's like these guys are like 1 in million, If only there were more like them. Other than that their prices are lower than i can find anywhere, X Factor Servers is the place to go for all your Game Serving needs. I Support them, and So do my fellow gamers.

I used to own many servers from many different GSPs. Recently, I switched to XFactorServers and I am very please with the server quality, and performance. I never hear any complaint on my team, or any team that I scrimmed against. I highly recommend to everyone in cs/css community to purchase a server from them.

We own 3 servers (CS:S, TF2, CoD4) from XFactor and could not be happier. Derek was friendly in helping us get the server setup and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We did have one small issue with ping, but it was resolved in under 10 minutes when we talked to Derek. I have been with Velocity, Branzone, Vee, Quantum, and NFO and have never been as satisfied overall as I have been with these guys.

I was searching a good game server company for my team and when I went to pwnage.tv I saw a banner of XFactorServers. So when nor try?? I order the pwnage.tv package (btw it's an emazing offer) but I made a mistake whil I was ordering. So Derek help me to cancel my order and order it again. My and I have try many game server Provider HD/Galore/Vee/ViciousNetworks/velocity/moreal/nextgen and no one can come close to the quality of www.xfactorservers.com

I would discourage any potential customer to look elsewhere. xfactorservers.com is dishonest and does not respect its customers.

I purchased a 1 year rental of a Day of Defeat game server. Problems started to arise from the very beginning, including an incomplete installation of the amxmodx plugin which is commonly used on C-S and DoD servers. After an unresolved support ticket and 5 hours wasted troubleshooting, I finally figured out that the auto-installations failed and installed amxmodx manually myself. I had a lot of questions regarding the server, but the customer service was unresponsive via online chat and phone. (xfactorservers actually tells you not to use live sales chat as "support," but it's the quickest way you'd get a response from them)

After 24 hours of dissatisfaction with them, I decided to cancel my rental with xfactorservers.com and have the credit card payment refunded, as per their 3 day money back guarantee posted on their homepage (For your information, the "3 day money back guarantee" does not cover most of their services). I sent 2 support tickets to cancel services, which they did not honor. xfactorservers continued to ignore my blunt requests to cancel it. I placed over 2 dozen phonecalls to their 1800 number, which no one ever picked up during the peak of daytime on the US East Coast. Ultimately "Derek" told me that he would not give me a refund, despite the horrible services and customer support.

I immediately disputed the credit card charge with my bank. At first, I thought that the odds were against me because of the vast grey area in online sales and the facts of this case. xfactorservers continued to leave my server running, as if they could point towards it as a disqualification of the 3-day money back guarantee. So when the bank asked for proof of cancellation, I wrote a lengthy letter explaining that xfactorservers never canceled it, that they mistreated me as a customer.

The bank sent me a reply, stating that they resolved the dispute in my favor.

Suppose you were looking for a game server provider: you want uninterrupted service, reliable customer support, and a company you can trust. xfactorservers gives you control of a server, and that's about all you can expect from them. They only care about your money, and they're willing to earn a bad reputation to keep a few hundred bucks.

Alright Quality Good! Pricing Good! Features Good! Support - Would have gave my money away. I bought a 11 slot/100 tic/1000 fps/ 50slot STV and been waiting 5 days for them to repair it.. 2 days to get the actual shipment of the server.

They DO NOT even offer 1000FPS servers like these other reviews are claiming. Only 250 and 500 fps. The server only runs good for the 3 days after that it runs like crap. Then they dont give refunds after those 3 days. They answered questions pretty quickly. But never actually fixed the problem. Just kept giving me the run around.

Server always had 90+ choke spikes no matter if you left the server stock or added mods. Everyone in server would complain of no registry and choke issues. Only good thing about this company is their fast response to support tickets. Save your money go somewhere else.

I got a 32 slot 100 tick server from a deal at 24$. I have to say, it is the best deal with the best quality that I have ever got. Low price at a high quality. You should get a server from here.

I rented a bottom of the line cheapo server for Condition Zero and the server was straight up horrible. We would get 10 people in there and start playing and the server would ping spike to like 300 CONSTANTLY. DO NOT RENT one of these servers if your looking for a good cheap server. This company is not your answer. We used server 5 times in the month of having it. WASTE OF MONEY!!!! Look elsewhere for a cheap server.

This was by far the best quality server I have ever paid for. The support was extremely good, if at any point I didn't know how to do something I was able to send a message to the owners directly and get a really fast response. And the ventrilo servers they add into the packages for the cal servers are really cheap. I would definitely recommend Xfactorservers to any of my buddies looking to get a server.

Pings are amazing i usually ping 35+ to Chicago mine is under 26.. The hardware on these servers are amazing because i have never seen a server register so well under all circumstances.(grenades, flashes all the firing.)
I have had my server for over 3 weeks and it has never crashed for me, servers are restarted every morning extremly stable just perfect for a demanding game like counter-strike source. Customer Support is amazing Derek is always on top of his msg's in Mirc, and deals with problems instantly.

The website is very easy to move around in cpanel, billing and ventrilo panel are all separate, so you can choose which service you want too view.

This kind of quality is amazing for this kind of price ($39.99) for a 500 fps 100 tick server with ventrilo. I will be a customer aslong as the quality remains the same

So far so good. I've had a Left 4 Dead 2 server on a monthly billing cycle for about 4 months now. 10 bucks a month, 8 slots. I couldn't get my first choice of server location (Seattle) but I picked San Jose instead and I still get a great ping. As far as I can tell then not much of a downside. These are not "el cheapo" servers even though the price is nice. They run great.

Customer support has been pretty good, they've answered my tickets quickly and dealt with my requests. They once accidentally shut down my server for supposedly being modded for too many slots (which it hadn't) but I filed a ticket and someone turned it right back on within an hour.

At one point I was trying to update my server files for the Passing DLC and it wasn't working; I left it in a non working state that night, went to work the next day and when I got home it was up and running fine. So unless it magically fixed itself, someone from xfactorservers went in and took care of it unprompted. Pretty neat.

Some people have reported problems on the billing end, I have not tried to cancel so I wouldn't know. I get charged 10 a month and it's never overcharged or anything. Doesn't seem like an issue thus far. So overall, IMO a great host.

The worst company I have ever been with. The support is horrible worst then gameservers.com It took Derek 1 Hour to reply to my support ticket and he didnt even answer it right. I told him to give me the cpanel link and he sent me "You can use the following link for game servers: my.xfactorservers.com" That is sad for a guy that thinks the company is all that. Get good. Learn to read buddy! Horrible company do not waste your time or money. Go with a better company!

The actual gameserver itself is incredibly stable and smooth; I have had no complaints and no problems whatsoever. Derek (the sales rep/owner) has done an amazing job answering questions, solving any issues that arise, and just in general making sure everything is running smoothly.

This is one of the best servers I have ever used. We have had NFO/GS/Velocity/HD/Galore/and a fatpipe server. XFactorservers is the best of them all. They have AMAZING hit-reg which is HUGE when it comes to CS:S servers. I can tell that they do NOT over-stack there boxes and I can tell they care becuase they are constantly asking how it's doing and if I need anything. It's been the best Game Server company I've dealt with and something that I will refer everyone i know to and a company worth recognition.
